A New Years Wedding...
I have always loved the idea of ringing in the New Year with the one you love. This year I had the honor of ringing it in with the love of my life, while watching another couple start their lives together! It was perfect!!!! They had the party first and the wedding at midnight. It could not get any better than that! I certainly felt Gods presence in that room and I adored the speech his girls and boys gave welcoming their new mom to the family. God will certainly bless their marriage. I wanted to take a moment and share a few of my favorite images I am still working on this wedding but I had to take a time out to share some of my favorite pictures! I hope you all enjoy them!
Congratulations to the Cook Family! I am so happy for you guys. May God bless you on this new journey as a family.
Corie and Justin
I was delighted to work with Corie and Justin as they were tons of fun to work with, and the location was amazing. I loved taking their pictures, and they were great sports considering it was cold and from time to time rained on us. The umbrella was not just used as a prop it turns out. I was so thankful for the covered area as most of time was spent in there. They were so cute together they made the mood light and fun! When you get a couple like them to shoot it makes your job easy! Not to mention they were super cute together! I believe they will be truly blessed in their upcoming wedding! Here are some of my favorite shots of the day!
Such a cute couple and I am wishing them a lifetime of happiness!
Hello everyone it has been a busy year this year and I have not kept up with the blog like I should this year. New Year's resolution number one is to maintain this blog for all of those interested in all the happenings at Greenlaw Photography. I am pleased to announce that this year will bring lots changes and also lots more fun. I am currently working with a wonderful group of people putting together ideas for this coming year! I will be sending out emails to announce upcoming dates and mini sessions for some seasonal fun.
I would like to take this time to say that I have been truly blessed to meet each and everyone of your families this year. I would not be where I am without all of you!
I wanted to take a moment to share some of my favorite moments of 2012! I look forward to 2013 and all of the wonderful things it will bring! This year has been a great year! I look forward to next year and all that it will bring! From my family to yours Happy New Year!
Today is a special day because 16 years ago I delivered a perfect baby boy. Wow has time flown. There are many things I can say about Jacob but the first one is I love his sweet sweet soul. He lights up a room when he walks in. He is pleasing to God. He is a good worker and works without complaint. He loves his family and his friends. Yes, he surely will be a wonderful husband one day for one very lucky girl. He is smart he completes his assignments without fail. He is my heart and God surely blessed me the day he was born.
Sixteen years ago seems like yesterday to me. It all goes so fast. I remember having to stand you on a chair to help me make cookies, and now you are able to drive a car.... Where does the time go? I have been watching you mature into a young man that I can be proud of. One that has integrity and trys to do his best in all he does. I can not tell you how proud I am to be your mom and how lucky I feel that I get to watch you grow up. God certainly blessed me the day you came into my world and has blessed me everyday since! Here are some of my favorite pictures of you when you were little! I did not scan in the ones of you as a baby but these are some of my favorites just the same! I love you and I hope you day is amazing and the next year will open many doors for you!
Today Jacob I hope you have a wonderful day. I hope this next year is full of adventure and fun. We love you!!! Happy Birthday!!!
Mom and Dad
The other day I had the pleasure of photographing a sweet couple. We also had the benefit of amazing light and weather. I think that God certainly was looking out for us that day! I enjoyed every second of it. Follow that with the amazing refections in the water and it was perfect! I am going to share with you a few of the images we took that day!
I loved this one because it is just sweet!
